Councillor Powers, in association with the Dundas Sunrise Rotary Club, presents 'An Afternoon for Linda...' An old-fashioned winter carnival in support of visitor/client services at the Juravinski Cancer Clinic

Saturday, February 6th, 2010 from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.
at the Dundas Driving Park's Rotary Skating Rink.

Performance by the Dundas Figure Skating Club; guest appearance by Don Knight, Canadian/Olympic Figure Skating Champion; period costume judging; music by 'The Relics'; complimentary BBQ ... and more surprises!

Announcement:

Proposed Roadwork
in Dundas

 

Councillor Powers has received the support of Council to put 3 major roadwork rehabilitation projects in the top 25 priorities on the list of Council-approved projects for "Stimulus Package Funding" consideration.

1. King Street from York Street to Bond Street
2. A round-a-bout at Governor's Road and Davidson Blvd.
2. York Road, from Valley Road to Newcombe Road

Approvals for these projects will be contingent on approval by both the Provincial and Federal governments and, if approved, work will be undertaken during next summer's construction season.
